Novelty Twitter accounts are so common these days that it’s hard to find a truly good one.
That does not mean they don’t exist.
Case in point: @BurnedYourTweet.
So far, the account has only tweeted at Donald Trump (14 tweets) and a computer programmer with the handle @FatFingerJoe, but it’s the content, not the amount, that makes these tweets really noteworthy. The Twitter “bot” is a real bot. Videos appear on the timeline in response to others’ (mostly @RealDonaldTrump) tweets, showing a copy of the tweet being printed on receipt paper. The bot then cuts the paper, crumples it, and literally burns it.
When Trump tweeted about The New York Times today, the @BurnedYourTweet account responded like this:
