Chris Hayes: Dems Are ‘Overdue For a Real Reckoning’ On Bill Clinton Allegations

In the midst of a chaos surrounding the molestation allegations that were made against Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore, MSNBC host Chris Hayes took to Twitter to express that such problems don’t only belong to Republicans.

“As gross and cynical and hypocrtical as the right’s ‘what about Bill Clinton‘ stuff is, it’s also true that Democrats and the center left are overdue for a real reckoning with the allegations against him,” Hayes tweeted.

The former president was accused of sexual assault and rape by several women over the years and the allegations were revived during the 2016 election after then-candidate Donald Trump was under fire for the remarks he made in the leaked Access Hollywood tape and the harassment/assault allegations made by roughly a dozen women that followed.

Hayes followed up the tweet sharing an article of Clinton accuser Juannita Broaddrick‘s account.

“Read this account,” Hayes urged his followers, “and ask yourself if it’s credible.”

He even drew a comparison between Clinton and disgraced film mogul Harvey Weinstein by pulling this excerpt.

Several conservatives praised Hayes for his tweets.
