CNN: Merkel Apparently Knew Trump Would Win, Chose G20 Location Over a Year Ago to Hurt Him

CNN has become so delusional over their disdain for Donald Trump that their coverage of the President now even appears to be at odds with the space-time continuum.

The embattled cable news network is now attacking the President with claims that seem almost impossible to be true, in terms of a timeline.

On Wednesday, CNN‘s international diplomatic editor Nic Robertson told viewers that German Chancellor Angela Merkel is holding the G20 summit in the populated city of Hamburg instead of a more remote location so that “President Trump can hear the voices of dissent here in Germany, here in Europe.”

“Angela Merkel has chosen to hold this summit in an environment, in a location, that can be surrounded by protesters. It’s not as we see some summits, on a remote hilltop that the whole village or the town around it is secure,” he said. “Angela Merkel is in a re-election campaign this year. The protesters will be able to get close so that, in part, President Trump can hear the voices of dissent here in Germany, here in Europe.”

The problem with Robertson’s assertion is that the G20 site was selected more than a year ago, when nearly everyone believed that Hillary Clinton would be the next President of the United States.

Aside from the fact that Mr. Robertson’s claim does not make much sense from a timeline standpoint, he is also assuming that a raucous crowd of anti-capitalist nutjobs would somehow benefit the German Chancellor in her re-election efforts.

CNN and much of the media has lost all sense of reality when it comes to covering the current President of the United States.
