CNN’s Dana Bash Posts Behind-the-Scenes Look at Trip to Korean DMZ on Instagram

Dana Bash, CNN’s chief political correspondent, had an exclusive interview with Vice President Mike Pence in the Korean Demilitarized Zone. And she has been documenting her trip on Instagram.

North Korea is mysterious and, frankly, sort of scary for a lot of Americans. After all, it was just a few hours ago they promised all-out war and weekly missile tests. Bash’s Instagram is providing a rare look at everything from the DMZ to what it’s like to travel with the VP:

Her behind-the-scenes shots coupled with her interviews with the VP have illuminated not only what North Korea looks like, but what our administration plans to do moving forward.

To that end, Pence spoke to Bash about his “great confidence” that “we will see a Korean peninsula free of nuclear weapons.”
