Helmet Cam Footage Shows Baumgartner's Terrifying Skydive From Space

During Felix Baumgartner‘s supersonic skydive from 120,000+ feet above the New Mexico desert Sunday afternoon, many viewers likely wondered when they’d get to see any footage from the diver’s helmet camera.

Well… the first bit of video has finally come out. And it is breathtaking.

The short video begins right after he made his jump from the capsule, and shows the daredevil’s terrifyingly out-of-control tumble through the stratosphere. After returning to the ground, Baumgartner told the press that this violent spin nearly knocked him out of consciousness.

But at around 1:30 into the video, we see Baumgartner right himself and look down straight at Earth, maintaining a less terrifying descent.
