‘Is #MerylStreepForPresident Trending Yet?’: Twitter Reacts to Meryl Streep’s Golden Globes Speech
Accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Award at tonight’s Golden Globes, actress Meryl Streep delivered an impassioned speech defending Hollywood, foreigners, and the press while taking aim at President-elect DonaldTrump.
As you would imagine, considering the political nature of the speech, there was quite a bit of a reaction to it.
Conservatives, for one, weren’t overly thrilled:
