Meghan McCain Asks If President Will Introduce Gay Marriage Bill, Twitter Conservatives Attack

 

MSNBC contributor and daughter of Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), Meghan McCain, has once again awoken the fierce retribution that is the conservative twitter-verse on Monday when she sent out a now-deleted tweet asking if President Obama was prepared to “Obama going to introduce legislation in congress to make gay marriage legal in all 50 states?” When Republicans fact-checked her knowledge of the process of legislating, she deleted the tweet.

Fortunately, her tweet was caught before it could be deleted by some adept tweeters.

Some noticed that there was a Constitutional issue with her suggestion. After the offending tweet was deleted:

She followed up with a vague notion about the sad state of local politics on the issue of gay marriage:
