Megyn Kelly Says She Was Asked to Publicly Defend Ailes After Gretchen Carlson Lawsuit
Megyn Kelly sat down with Charlie Rose tonight to discuss her book Settle for More and the behind-the-scenes drama at Fox News amid the sexual harassment allegations against Roger Ailes.
You may remember that months ago, when other Fox Newsers were publicly defending Ailes after Gretchen Carlson‘s allegations of sexual harassment, Kelly did not publicly speak. One report said there were some frustrations within Fox about this. And then another report dropped about Kelly telling investigators Ailes sexually harassed her too.
Well, according to TheWrap’s Brian Flood, Kelly said that she was asked (by Ailes’ wife, as she told The Hollywood Reporter) to publicly defend Ailes and refused:
