Model Used in Anti-Gay Billboard Is Actually… Well, Take a Guess
There’s a controversial billboard up in Virginia showing what are said to be twins––one gay, one straight––to make a point that “nobody is born gay”:
Now, there’s just one teeny, tiny little issue with the billboard: those aren’t actual twins. Oh, and the fact that South African model Kyle Roux, whose stock photo picture is duplicated in the ad, just happens to be gay himself.
Roux said, “There no place in today’s world for an organization that is promoting this as being some kind of deviant or distasteful lifestyle, because I’ve lived my life openly gay and happy for my entire life.”
Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays, the group that put up the billboard, believes in gay conversion therapy and is standing by the message of the ad.
