Snoop Dogg’s New Music Video Shows Him Shooting a Clown Dressed Up as Trump

West Coast rapper Snoop Dogg got political in his new music video, where he shot a stand-in for President Trump as he offered various bits of social commentary.

The video is a Nightfall remix of BadBadNotGood’s “Lavender,” and it stars Snoop as a TV personality in a world populated by clowns. The video makes references to Philando Castile‘s death, racial profiling, announcements of mass deportation, and there’s a moment towards the end where Snoop shoots a gag gun at a clown dressed up like the president.

The rapper talked about his video with Billboard, where he explained how the concept was created during a meet-up with director and YouTube star, Jesse Wellens. Snoop said that he and Wellens used the clowns to make a point about how the ridiculousness of Trump and other people has made it much harder to talk about important issues.

From Billboard:

The whole world is clownin’ around…If you really look at some of these motherf*ckers, they are clowns. The ban that this motherf*cker tried to put up; him winning the presidency; police being able to kill motherfuckers and get away with it, people being in jail for weed for 20, 30 years and motherf*ckers that’s not black on the streets making money off of it—but if you got color or ethnicity connected to your name, you’ve been wrongfully accused or locked up for it, and then you watching people not of color position themselves to get millions and billions off of it. It’s a lot of clown sh*t going on…
