NRATV Host Dan Bongino Declares: My ‘Entire Life is About Owning the Libs’

While criticizing the Democrats response to the sexual misconduct allegations leveled against Supreme Court justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh, NRATV host Dan Bongino declared yesterday that his “entire life is about owning the libs” after the “pure unadulterated evil” they showed while protesting the nomination.

“I know I shouldn’t say this, I know it’s not right. I really — in my heart I know it, but I tweeted out before I got on the show and I mean it, I’d be lying to you otherwise,” Bongino said while hosting yesterday’s edition of NRATV’s We Stand. “My entire life right now is about owning the libs. That’s it.”

“Owning the libs” is a term that began as a meme used to mock conservatives, especially Donald Trump supporters who have protested by destroying their personal property  when major brands — like Keurig and Nike — buck the right-wing agenda. Conservatives then appropriated the meme, ironically tweeting about their desire to “own the libs” in every facet of live, but — as with many trends that start out ironically — some right-wing pundits have actually declared that their whole ideology is about opposing liberals at every turn.

“The libs, because they have shown themselves through this Kavanaugh abomination of a process to be — I’m talking about the libs on Capitol Hill and sadly some of these radical groups — to be pure unadulterated evil what they did to this guy,” he added. “You have to lose, I’m sorry. We win, you lose, the new rules are in effect. My life is all about owning the libs now. We have got to get this guy appointed on the Supreme Court.”

Bongino, whose political experience includes losing three congressional races and winning zero, has a history of comical attempts to “own the libs.”

In one promotional NRATV video, the cube-headed pundit attempted to make lemonade by placing several whole, un-sliced lemons in a blender (lemonade is made with lemon juice, not the whole fruit). Bongino explained that the lemons are a metaphor for what media liberals give you, while conservatives give “the truth.” The video ends with Bongino drinking lemonade — it’s unclear where the lemonade came from, since his cup did not contain any mashed lemon rinds from his blender concoction — and releasing a deep sigh fit for a YouTube ASMR page.

In another promo, the host destroyed a TV with a sledgehammer to attack the “fake news.”
