Of All the Public Figures Known For Bad Choices, You Won’t Believe Who’s Writing an Advice Book

Who sued Fox News after Michelle Fields said they do cocaine with their own mother? Who has been known to use social media to post wildly irrelevant tributes to 9/11 on September 13? Who once posted the Arabic words for “you are a donkey” and claimed it meant “you are beautiful”? Whose various mugshots have you seen on the front of every major magazine for years and years whenever you’re in line at the grocery store? Who has screwed up so often that your friend and mine, Oprah, told them to “cut the bullshit”?

You know this one.

It’s Lindsay Lohan!

She apparently listened to Oprah and has, by her estimation, turned her life around to the point that she is ready to write a book. It makes sense. She is engaged and is even getting really politically involved. Here’s what she told Vanity Fair about her plans:

I am in the process of writing a book, and I am very excited to share my personal experiences in life and how to overcome obstacles. I hope that my words will connect with those who need some guidance when [or] if they are in a tough place.

She went on to say, “I can’t turn back time, but if I could, I would have listened more to my mother and gone back to NYC earlier in life and chosen my friends more wisely.”

That sounds pretty reasonable, actually, so maybe this book will be a good read. What do you think? Will you buy it?
