Ronald Reagan Appeared on House Floor Twice This Week (In Cardboard Form)

Two Democrats this week utilized a life-sized cardboard cutout of Ronald Reagan on the House floor because Congress loves their props.

Congressman Earl Blumenauer used the giant cardboard Reagan in a speech yesterday about raising the gas tax to make the point that Reagan once favored it. And today, Congressman Luis Gutierrez shot back at conservative complaints about President Obama‘s immigration action by saying Reagan took similar action.

The cardboard cutout flanked him too.
