Televangelist Joel Osteen Deletes Hilariously Unintentional Masturbation Tweet

Megachurch pastor and best-selling author Joel Osteen may want to rethink his wording before tweeting out to the masses. On Thursday night, the Lakewood Church founder tweeted out words of wisdom that, to many, sounded more like a bizarre sexual suggestion.

“A true friend walks in when everybody else walks out,” he wrote. “A true friend doesn’t rub it in when you make a mistake. They rub it out.”

Get it? Because masturbation. Out came the jokes about having “f*cked up” friends or needing to get friends who listen to Osteen’s wisdom.

Obviously Osteen deleted the tweet after being subject to Twitter mockery. But screenshots happened.
