Trump Signing Russian Sanctions Bill Greeted with Praise and Skepticism: ‘Doesn’t Seem Too Pleased’
President Trump has finally signed Russian sanctions legislation into law. Republicans commended the President while Democrats were more skeptical:
Happy pres signed sanctions bill. Putan wants to break foundation of democracy. We cannot ignore how he threatens freedom around the world

There are times I'll agree w @realDonaldTrump & times I'll disagree. Today he should be commended for signing #RussiaSanctionsBill

I am pleased @POTUS signed this bipartisan bill that imposes new sanctions on Russia, Iran and North Korea for their transgressions. https://t.co/Z7KgkSuXkT

Shouldn't have taken veto-proof action by Congress to ensure @POTUS wouldn't ease sanctions over Russia's interference in our elections.

.@realDonaldTrump doesn't seem too pleased to sign this bill, wait maybe it's bc this is the Russia sanctions bill.https://t.co/6TfPBJXSdq

Let's be clear: This is Congress imposing its will on @realDonaldTrump. In America, the legislature is a co-equal branch of government. https://t.co/EPrwRLqR71

1) Obama should have immediately enacted tough sanctions for Russia's actions. 2) kudos to @realDonaldTrump for signing despite encroachment https://t.co/j2yJBcJNij

Trump has expressed more concerns about Congress's Russia sanctions bill than about Putin's expulsion of US diplomats.

President @realDonaldTrump signed the Russia sanctions bill. Why would he do this if colluding with Russia? Lol

… And now I will sign into law this legislation that includes “a number of clearly unconstitutional provisions." https://t.co/UQuQgzVTFg
