Twitter Blows Up After Insane CNN Interview With Roy Moore Spox: ‘REPREHENSIBLE’

This was absolutely bonkers.
Tuesday morning, Roy Moore spokesperson Janet Porter visited New Day, and the result was one of the craziest cable news interviews in recent memory.
The Moore surrogate’s opening comment was truly stunning (watch above). Porter offered some highly unusual congratulations to CNN’s Poppy Harlow — who is eight months pregnant.
“Congratulations on your unborn child,” Porter said. “That’s the reason why I came down as a volunteer to speak for Moore, because he will stand for the rights of babies like yours in the womb where his opponent will support killing them until the moment of birth.”
Twitter completely blew up as a result of what was a truly wild segment. Here’s a sampling of the reaction across social media:
What @MooreSenate’s spox just said to @PoppyHarlowCNN about Poppy’s soon to be born child is REPREHENSIBLE.

So, now a spokeswoman for Roy Moore is referencing the fact that Poppy Harlow is pregnant and asking her about unborn lives.
Uh, what?

Wow — this @PoppyHarlowCNN interview with Roy Moore spokesperson.
Poppy is conducting a clinic on how to conduct an interview and prevent a flack from changing the subject.

Jane Porter is an excellent spokesperson for Roy Moore in as much as crabs are an excellent spokesperson for abstinence. #CNN #Newday

Wow.
What his spokesperson means is, “Although the candidate I’m supporting is a known pedophile, at least he’s not a murderer”. She knows Moore likes underaged girls, so that “baby killer” point was her only angle. https://t.co/axE0jlwWaN— Chely Wright (@chelywright) December 5, 2017

Which news outlet will be the first to venture into Alabama’s heartland and tell the stories of Roy Moore’s non-accusers? https://t.co/klYMLnTmko

Well, that was a horrifying display by Roy Moore’s spox on CNN just now, but I guess he’s gonna win.

kid: what R U doing today?
Jane Porter: going on CNN!!
kid: and doing what??
Porter: I’m gonna trash the reputations of women I don’t know!!
kid: why?
Porter: Roy Moore’s in trouble

Roy Moore spox just told CNN host that Doug Jones wants to kill her unborn son; and then said we must remember there are many people who haven’t accused Moore of sexual misconduct. Where does he find these people??? https://t.co/CfmhGymodD

Oh…my…God! Reprehensible!
Roy Moore’s spokespetson, Janet Porter, just deflected a question from Poppy Harlow about Moore’s accusers by SUGGESTING MOORE’s OPPONENT SUPPORTS ABORTING @PoppyHarlowCNN’s BABY! (She’s 8 mos pregnant.) Poppy responded, “Leave my baby out of this!”— Shannon Fisher (@MsShannonFisher) December 5, 2017
“Listen here Poppy. Doug Jones wants to kill your baby in the womb. A baby that could have the honor and privilege of dating the honorable Roy Moore in 14 years.” https://t.co/3UwjxLspGH
— Marcus Hawkins (@HawkinsUSA) December 5, 2017
& @PoppyHarlowCNN rightly responded: “Leave my child out of this.” https://t.co/w21yIFKrw9

I’m horrified by @MooreSenate’s spox’s behavior toward @PoppyHarlowCNN. To say what she did to an expectant mother is just beyond the pale.
