Actress Kristen Stewart hit back at former President Donald Trump on Wednesday over Trump’s old social media posts encouraging Robert Pattinson to “dump” her.
In a Rolling Stone profile published on Wednesday, Stewart spoke about the moment in 2017 when she came out on Saturday Night Live with a jab at Trump.
Stewart said that after someone at SNL brought up Trump’s posts, she had replied, “He’s mad at me for cheating on my boyfriend?”
The Twilight star then told Rolling Stone, “Of course he had to weigh in on my tarring and feathering. It’s like, ‘What is this 20-year-old who has no idea about life doing to this man?'”
She added, “He’s such a little baby,” before telling Trump, “Fuck you, bitch!”
Trump repeatedly weighed in on Stewart’s relationship with Pattinson in 2012 after it was revealed that Stewart had been having an affair with director Rupert Sanders.
“Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart. She cheated on him like a dog & will do it again–just watch. He can do much better!” wrote Trump in one October 2012 post.
In another, he added, “Everyone knows I am right that Robert Pattinson should dump Kristen Stewart. In a couple of years, he will thank me. Be smart, Robert.”
Stewart and Pattinson broke up just months later.
Stewart initially responded to Trump’s posts during her SNL monologue in 2017, declaring, “Donald, if you didn’t like me then, you’re probably really not going to like me now… because I’m hosting SNL and I’m, like, so gay, dude.”
