Trump Raves About Patrick Mahomes and His ‘Phenomenal Wife’ While Picking Chiefs to Win Super Bowl: ‘She’s a Trump Fan! She’s a MAGA Fan!’

President Donald Trump predicted that the Kansas City Chiefs will defeat the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday night in Super Bowl LIX.

During his Sunday afternoon interview with Fox News anchor Bret Baier, the president was asked to pick a winner. Trump responded by praising the Brittany Mahomes — the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Brittany famously promoted content on social media that was supportive of Trump during the presidential race. On Instagram, she liked a post that included policies Trump planned to implement during his second administration — including federal cuts to education and sealing the border.

Trump praised Brittany before predicting the Chiefs will win the Super Bowl by noting, “She is a Trump fan! She is a MAGA fan!”

BAIER: So, game prediction?

TRUMP: I hate to do it. I just say that I’ve watched this great quarterback who has, by the way, a phenomenal wife. Okay. She’s a Trump fan! She’s a MAGA fan!  So I happen to love her. Okay. But she’s a great person. I watched her big interview and I said, well, it’s pretty good. But she’s great and he’s great. I guess you have to say that when a quarterback wins as much as this one, I have to go with Kansas City. I have to go with Kansas City. At the same time, Philadelphia has a fantastic — it’s going to be just a great game.
