Protestors took to the steps of the Supreme Court on Monday night as President Donald Trump announced D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Brett Kavanaugh as his pick to replace retiring Justice Anthony Kennedy.
The selection of Kavanaugh — as a prominent conservative legal figure who was proposed to Trump by the Federalist Society — was well received by conservatives. But Kavanaugh’s selection has already raised to fury of the left, and a number of protestors gathered outside the Supreme Court on Monday night, gathering before the president made his announcement and taking aim directly after Kavanaugh once he was named.
The crowd carried signs protesting everything from circumcision (see above) to the snubbing of former President Barack Obama‘s Supreme Court pick Merrick Garland:

Pro-lifers clashed with pro-choicers:
