‘We Now Know the Source’: Trump Shares Meme Depicting Jersey Drones as Chris Christie Fast Food Delivery

President-elect Donald Trump shared a meme to his followers on Truth Social mocking former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie as the reason for the mysterious drones over New Jersey.
Over the last week there have been reports of drone sightings in New York and New Jersey as well as at a U.S. air base located in Germany.
In response to the outrage, the Pentagon claimed in a statement earlier there was no evidence that a foreign nation was behind the drones.
On X, formerly Twitter, an AI generated meme went viral that depicted a distorted image that looked like Christie eating McDonald’s burgers while drones are in the background delivering more meals to him, with the caption, “We now know the source of the drones over New Jersey.”
After multiple accounts reshared the image, Trump posted it to his Truth Social account on Saturday without the original commentary but with the sentiment intact.
The original creator then tweeted about Trump sharing it, and posted an animated version:

Christie has been a longtime critic of Trump ever since he was booted from his 2017 presidential transition team. Moreover, Christie ran against Trump during the 2024 Republican primary for the party’s nomination.
During the campaign trail, Trump also mocked Christie for his weight by referring to him as a “fat pig” to his supporters.
