Fox & Friends Brian Kilmeade Pans Trump’s Mocking Christine Ford: ‘He Chose to Blow It’
Fox News host Brian Kilmeade doesn’t think it was a good idea for Donald Trump to go after Christine Ford, even if it has more to do with political strategy than whether its the right or wrong thing to do.
The president directly ridiculed Ford at a rally last night while the FBI continues to investigate the claims from her and other women regarding Brett Kavanaugh‘s alleged sexual misconduct. When Fox & Friends took note of this on Wednesday morning, Kilmeade didn’t think the attack was good for Trump in a tactical sense, especially since it’s quite different from the more restrained approach he took earlier in the Ford-Kavanaugh news cycle.
“The tactic of the president laying low has been lauded by all sides. Last night he chose to blow it as the FBI is handing in the report as early as today. I wonder about the wisdom, as much as the crowd loved it, I wonder about the wisdom tactically of him doing that.”
Ainsley Earhardt turned the conversation to a new letter from Ford’s ex-boyfriend, contradicting certain aspects of her testimony and conduct.
BREAKING: Fox’s @johnrobertsFox obtains letter from Ford ex-boyfriend alleging: dated for 6 yrs, never told of sex assault, Ford coached friend on taking polygraph, flew frequently w/o expressing any fear of flying/tight spaces/limited exits.
