Plot Twist! Fox’s Napolitano Shocked By Justice Kavanaugh Siding With SCOTUS Liberals in Key Apple Case
Newly appointed Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh surprised many when he sided with the four liberal justices in writing the winning opinion of a 5-4 decision that broadens class-action lawsuits in a case focused on Apple’s application store. One individual caught completely off-guard by Kavanaugh’s vote? Fox News Senior Legal Analyst Andrew Napolitano.
Appearing on America’s Newsroom Monday morning, the Judge expressed surprise to anchor Bill Hemmer over Kavanaugh’s apparent flouting of conservative judicial norms and siding with Justices Ruth Bader-Ginsberg, Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor, and Stephen Breyer.
“All the indications about Brett Kavanaugh were he was a conservative that wouldn’t listen to the other side and during the course of the unfortunate hearings that he had,” Napolitano said, adding, “when he was allowed to talk about his political philosophy he said I am not a monolithic anything. I listen to the facts and I apply the law.”
“Today he and the four liberal members of the court radically expanded the rights of plaintiffs to bring class actions,” Napolitano finished.
