Trevor Noah Blasts Trump’s ‘Wouldn’t’ Clarification: ‘Get The F**k Outta Here!’
Trevor Noah slammed President Donald Trump for his clarification following his remarks at the Helsinki summit that has sparked quite the uproar.
Noah began by noting several critics who have condemned the president for not holding Russian President Vladimir Putin accountable for his country’s meddling in the 2016 election, including a humorous take from Arnold Schwarzenegger.
“Welcome to 2018- where Donald Trump is so bad at being president, he made The Terminator sigh,” Noah reacted.
The Daily Show host told his viewers that like after Charlottesville, Trump was “forced to come out and pretend to believe something different than what he said.” He then called the lights going out in the middle of Trump’s clarification at the White House earlier today an “omen.”
“That was insane! Trump tried to claim that he believes in the intel agencies and then the lights went off,” Noah said. “It’s like even electricity is tired of his bullsh*t.”
Noah later blasted the president for insisting to the American people that he meant to say he doesn’t see why it “wouldn’t” be Russia who meddled in the 2016 election instead of what he actually said, which was he doesn’t see why it “would” be Russia.
“You know what, that makes sense. I actually believe Trump on this. I’m sorry- let me just get my notes… Oh, what I meant to say was ‘Get the f**k outta here, man!'” Noah exclaimed. “Are you serious? The president and his team had 24 hours, 24 hours to come up with a reason why Trump took Russia’s side against America and all they could come up with was ‘nah uh!'”
He then called Trump’s “double negative” explanation the “ballsiest part” of his clarification.
“Yeah, you’re right Mr. President. That was a double negative,” Noah agreed. “You f**ked up yesterday and now you f**ked up today.”
