WATCH HERE: Verdict Reached In George Zimmerman Murder Trial

With the conclusion of George Zimmerman‘s murder trial for the 2012 shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, the jury will deliberate the charges and consider whether the defendant is guilty of second-degree murder, among other counts.

Zimmerman faces second-degree murder charges for the shooting of Martin, who was unarmed at the time. The defendant has claimed that he shot Martin in self-defense, citing Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law. The jury is also considering a manslaughter charge, which they asked the judge for clarification for early Saturday evening.
