Brian Kilmeade Clarifies: All Terrorists Who Killed Us On 9/11 Were Muslim

video

On the morning that followed Bill O’Reilly‘s lively appearance on The View (which lead co-hosts Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg to temporarily walk off the set), Fox & Friends Brian Kilmeade defended O’Reilly by saying that while not all Muslims are terrorists, “all terrorists are Muslim.” Kimeade’s comments received scorn and rebuke, and today he addressed this dust-up by apologizing “if he offended” and further clarified his comment.

Kilmeade’s original comment on O’Reilly’s contentious appearance on The View:

“They were outraged that someone was saying that there was a reason, there was a certain group of people that attacked us on 9/11. It wasn’t just one person, it was one religion. Not all Muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims.”

In the predictable dust-up that followed, Fox News exec Bill Shine told Huffington Post that KIlmeade would address this comment on Monday’s program of Fox & Friends, which you can see in the clip below. One could argue that this apology has the least possible amount of contrition, with the passive elocution “I’m sorry about that, if I offended or hurt anybody’s feelings. But that’s it”

He also addressed and clarified his comments on his radio program, which follows the video clip.

So Fox News most understand Jeremiah Wright’s angry by giving their blanket but accurate statement. Jeremiah deserves an apology.

All murderers of doctors who perform legal abortions affirmed by the Supreme Court and bomb abortion clinics are white conservative Christians.Did I say anything wrong?

  • tatboy

According to all the people outraged by the Kilmeade comments… yes you did.

  • gammaray

All terrorists are muslims? I suppose that includes the IRA then…

  • bealzebubba

I don’t know…I’m still not sure about the grammar of it all…just doesn’t sound right. I get what Bill was saying but for a guy who seems to toss out a snappy retort here and there, him throwing out ‘muslims killed us on 9-11′ just sounds way off.

I understand FOX “News”, Murdoch’s, Ailes’ reticence to apologize. If they apologized as often as they should for Jetpack-like hate statements, doctored photos, false reports, miscues and gaffes, most of the programming day would be spent. This was an apology which had to be made, however. I gather the pressure on FOX “News” was immense.

  • Thelonious Funk

Don’t belittle 1%. That’s the minimum percentage needed to enact Sharia Law in a country.

So, will mediaite request a comment from Olberman who called Brian an “unamerican bastard” or will Olbermann take up Colby’s position and claim Kilmeade WPITW because his apology wasn’t “contrite” enough???

Taking bets it’s the latter and not the former.

So on the one hand, Fox viewership is very, very tiny. On the other hand, Fox is a huge threat to the Republic. ‘Logic’ like this only works in the diseased mind of the King.

Actually, Kumquat, it is perfectly logical. A tumor begins as a small, insignifcant part of the body mass. Far smaller than 1%. Taken in the context of bodily cells, I should think far less than 0.0001% at the onset.

Yeah, that first amendment can be a bitch. Puts you in ‘danger’ of hearing views other than your own. The King should write his congressman and ask about having it eliminated.

  • lazzzlo

All political groups act as an aggregate that think that their voice is the only voice that is important, viable or correct.

  • lazzzlo

I became a citizen because of the attacks of 9/11.

On another note, Fox needs to decide what they’re role is as a news source…you can’t elude to not being part of the MSM and then claim/have such high viewership.

As long as ultra-wealthy, obscenely greedy trans-national corporations want to take over the world, using the United States military as their personal “persuaders”, the people of the United States will never be safe.

I understood what both O’Rielly and Kilmeade meant. But then I’m an Independent, not a Progressive. I do have a short exam for everyone, though.

a: You guessed it – A Muslim male extremist between the age of 17 and 40.

No, I really don’t see a pattern here to justify profiling. Do you? So, to ensure we Americans/Canadians never offend anyone, particularly fanatic’s intent on killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile certain people. They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the President’s security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winner and former Governor Joe Foss, but leave Muslim males between the ages 17 and 40 alone lest they be guilty of profiling.

France is on alert because Saudi Arabian security services gave France a heads up because al Queda plans commando style raids on several European cities.

While it is true unions in Europe engage in terrorism because governments are cutting them off from taking too much from taxpayers, it doesn’t take away from the fact Europe is on alert because of Muslims. If Muslim terrorism is only perpetrated be a small minority, the Muslim immigrants in Europe should be able to put those European countries minds to rest if they had a shred of loyalty to their adopted country.

We have Muslim terrorism because Muslim immigrants stand with brothers no matter how evil they are.

U.S. has a fertility rate of a little more than two births per woman. Europe falls far below this level. Germany checks in at 1.3 births per woman, with Russia and Italy at 1.2 and Spain a little more than one birth per woman.
Steyn contrasts this with the fertility rate in Muslim countries like Afghanistan, 6.69 births per woman, Mali 7.42 and Somalia 6.76 births per woman. Steyn points out that Muslims living in Europe do not assimilate and, because of their population boom, they will instead take over Europe and be the dominant cultural force in 40 years.
Islam is a far greater threat than global warming, China or any other man-made or natural disaster imaginable.
Obama and likeminded Liberals in and out of the Federal government see things. They continue to try and win over hearts and minds of Muslims; to convert them to Western Democratic thinking. It is a losing strategy, and one for which we will pay a very dear price.

Secularism is not a religion, there is no holy book, no weekly meeting place to compare clothing, just people wanting to live their lives based on morals obvious to all, without some invisible guy threatening to send them to hell.

Yes secular nation, our nation was the first to have a clear separation of church and state, guaranteed by the constitution. All other nations had an official religion, the king/queen of England, was head of the church as well, the king of France was a divine right monarchy. People from all over Europe came to the colonies to escape religious persecution, whether it was the Quakers in Pennsylvania, the Puritans in Massachusetts, the Catholics in Maryland.
Most of the founding fathers were diests, basically the atheists of the day, believing that god was the primary mover, but does not interfere with human affairs. They based the writing of the constitution on the philosophy of John Locke and Voltaire, enlightenment philosophers that proposed that the power of government is derived from the consent of the governed, not the divine right of kings.
The constitution has the first amendment which is of course the freedom of religion, and the Article 6 also states that “no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.”

U.S. has a fertility rate of a little more than two births per woman.

For one thing that is lot of hateful propaganda. Birthrate has more to do with the agrarian society that they live in, the infant death rate, the fact that in an agrarian society another child is another worker for the farm. In modern society a child is a hinderence until about 18 or 22, not to mention the low infant death rate. Then you bring in contraception, and a women goes from dedicating their entire adult life to raising children to about 5 years, therefore women want to get educated join the work force and demand equal rights.

People are fundamentally the same throughout the world. My good friend was from Iran, went to college in Boston, he drank alcohol, dated women, otherwise normal guy. Seriously watch this:http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/tue-june-23-2009/jason-jones–behind-the-veil—ayatollah-you-so

Oh, for God’s Sake, STOP protecting these Muslims…they are not the type of people you would want as a next door neighbor..it is not their nature to be kind & loving & if they marry your daughter it will be only to get a green card & then, if she does not do what he wishes, he might get out that special extra sharp sword & do, what they do best, decapitate her since that is the “final insult” that you can do to a person in their “religion”?..Please, just keep them as extras in a movie about the middle east…they do not share ANY of our religious beliefs, they do not even attempt to dress like us (but we have to wear shawls over there, right?), they are rude, they are only here to make money & send it back to their country to help their cause..like making explosives, planning more destruction, you know..the usual. They like to see dancing…..boys! What type of men prefer boys over women, I mean not men over men, men over & under BOYS!! Look,, this is their belief, their mothers don’t complain, please America stay out of it, stop trying to change the world..you can’t. We stand to lose as they are now GETTING MAD..and you don’t want to see them when they get mad..noooo..they WILL kill you..& then go to heaven and get 12 virgin boys. Wise up America, bring our MEN home so that they can continue to love their wives & children like real people do. This stuff sickens me…oh and America, find another form of energy so we can dethrone all of those sheiks, we are condoning their actions by doing business with them, that is why they are here, they are there, they are all over the world causing nothing but MAYHEM!!!! God Bless what’s left of America!
