DAMMIT I want to make some HILARIOUS comments about this over at the FOX NATION, but for some reason the comments are CLOSED??!1 Just like when TED KENNEDY and JOHN MURTHA died…. hmmm, I wonder why they’re afraid of True American Patriots and FOX NEWS viewers expressing their CONDOLENCES??!!1

I hope they recover.

Best wishes for both ladies for a full recovery. You know, now would be the time for Mr. Reid to RETIRE to spend more time with his family (who needs him!)

Although I never said anything when Kennedy died, I did wonder about the look on his face when he met his maker and finally had to pay for his crimes.

I think you misunderstood me – LIBS are NOT funny!!1 Take a look at Jon SPEW-art, the LEAST funny person on television, who is constantly trying to belittle FOX NEWS (The Most Powerful Name in News) and further the SOCIOFASCIST agenda!!1 Now that Steven Crowder, he is a RIOT!!1

But getting back to the SUBJECT at hand – I honestly don’t understand WHY the FOX NATION has shut off comments on this story… don’t they REALIZE how RESPECTFUL we Right-Thinking Americans would be??!!1

Gotta be honest, I can’t get a read on you. I consider myself the queen of sarcasm and can’t tell when you are being serious or sarcastic. If I misjudged you, I truly apologize.

Oh and I have my theory about why comments aren’t being allowed on Fox Nation. Libs like to pose as conservatives and write hateful things, and then point to us. Kind of like when the census worker committed suicide and it was called murder by conservative, or when the noose was found on a professors door and it turned out to be a lib trying to “make a point”. You get my drift.

I take the two wrongs don’t make a right approach. No one should make light of Reid’s misfortune, and no one should have made light of Cheney’s heart attack. Both sides tend to do this, then point at the other and say “Look, they’re doing it, too!”

Sorry Michelle, but I’m pretty sure Karl is a fictional creation – I’m sure ImNotBlue will be along shortly to present a breathless exposé since he’s pretty much obsessed with the guy.

As far as the Fox Nation goes – have you ever READ any of the comments there? I have seen some of the most ignorant, hateful, and poorly spelled comments I have ever read on that site. For best results, read the comments on a story involving gays or blacks (the web gurus at the Fox Nation sure do know their audience). The idea that they are written by liberal saboteurs is kind of unrealistic. Comments on liberal blogs may be snarky and insensitive, but nowhere near as scary and ignorant as anything found on the Fox Nation.

I don’t know. I’ve seen some of the Kos and Huff Post comments, and they’re as hateful as anything else on the web. I don’t think the right has a monopoly on the haters.

I’m pretty far right (ask around, hee hee) and although I hope Reid loses in November, I hope his family makes a full recovery. Hoping for someone’s death has been expressed by some of our far left posters, yet they see the right as the hateful ones. (see ignoring Bill Maher’s chortling at Cheney’s heart attack as an example.)

Cubby, autobahn is correct, have you check out KO’s? Keep calling people to the right of you ignorant and see how far that gets you in the next 2 elections. (any spelling in there?)

Yes, Michelle. But we must look at Ed’s background, his history of enlightenment, and the pureness of his heart. It’s his intent we have to look at when he says he wants Cheney dead. I’m sure he meant something else. And I agree about the far left’s political strategy for the upcoming elections. The more they insult the general public, the more votes they’ll get?

“Karl Spensen” is actually Christian Larson. This is a “personality” created back in college (think Colbert, but less funny)… and has continued because either he thinks it’s funny, or it’s all he can do.

A few weeks ago, he finally got annoyed enough at me for pointing out how sad it is that he’s still using a college character, and proceeded to tell me that this is what he likes to do, and it’s his representation of “so many” right-wing bloggers. Of course, it’s virtually the same as so many left-wing lunatic bloggers as well… but as a former MSNBC intern, this is what we should expect.

Anyway… don’t waste your time. He’s doing his best to be annoying, and aside from folks like Ted or Royal, who “love” his “comedy,” everyone else ignores him.

Oh, and I bet he’ll say something like, “Cool story bro!!1″ or something now.

Darth Cheney gets no sympathy because he’s a fiendish and evil person. He had a mental patient tortured until he said that Iraq was involved in the 9-11 attacks. When Augusto Pinochet, another cowardly thug with a fondness for torture and killing (from a safe distance of course), kicked the bucket I had a good chuckle and was glad that such a wicked brute was gone for good. In a perfect world, Pinochet and Cheney would have faced justice on the scaffold, but this isn’t a perfect world.

If that offends the sensibilities of concern trolls who are more worried about “incivility” than whether people are tortured and murdered, tough titty.

Cheney is an arrogant, self-serving coward. He conspired with other neo-cons to manipulate media outlets and Congress into pursuing two ill-conceived wars. And then screwed up by not being prepared to actually define victory and then achieve it. Except history will demonstrate, once Bush administration documents are released, that Cheney and co. actually wanted the wars we now are engaged in- hundreds of billions of dollars going into the military industrial complex- clearly all that money didn’t actually end up going toward the war effort. Cheney deserves no respect and certainly no sympathy. His behavior has been criminal and his continued vocal opposition to Bush and Obama administration war policies are factually inaccurate at best and treasonous at worst. The world will be better off without him or his ilk- so I say those voicing faux outrage at two comedians should re-direct it at a man who promoted policies that led to over 5000 American deaths and the weakening of America. To sum up, Cheney can, and will, go to hell.
