Boston authorities are responding to an emergency situation at Logan International Airport, where a car ran into a group of people near a taxi pool.
Massachusetts State Police announced an early warning about the incident on their Twitter account:
DEVELOPING – Units on scene, vehicle into a group of pedestrians, Porter St at Tomahawk Driver, East Boston, near Logan taxi pool. Injuries.

Details about the incident are still coming in, though early reports state that 10 people were taken to the hospital.

NBC Boston reports that the driver remained at the scene, and police are suspecting that the incident was an “operator error” as opposed to an act of terrorism. Separate news sources reported that driver hit the gas pedal after mistaking it for the brakes.
