It was clear who James Carville supported during the 2008 Democratic primary, squarely for Sen. Hillary Clinton over Sen. Barack Obama.

So how much has changed? After telling an old campaign joke, Carville went on CNN to reiterate “I’m not sorry and I don’t apologize.”

The Blaze has the original video from a Christian Science Monitor breakfast, when during a Q&A session someone asked Carville if he thought Pres. Obama was “misunderstood” or just “being a wimp.” Carville’s years-old joke: “If Hillary gave him one of her balls, they’d both have too.”

Last night he called in to John King, USA, where the host said some were outraged. Carville told everyone to just chill: “Outraged? It’s a joke. In fact, it was an old joke.”

“He is the President of the United States,” said King. “If you said it during the campaign is there any different standard now that he’s the President?”

Short answer – no:

Of all the things that people say about the President, and I actually support most things the president does, I think this is fairly mild…If I offended anyone I’m not sorry and I don’t apologize.

So there it is. For those counting at home, Carville’s scoreboard – Clinton: 3, Obama: 1. At the very least, Bill Hader has some new material for tomorrow night. Here’s the segment on CNN last night:

Carville is hilarious. He’s politically a polar opposite from me, and he has a particularly “nasty” tongue sometimes but he is nothing if not consistent. Will Olby make him a “worst person” ? ( no cuz carville would rip what’s left of any testicles from olbys’ sackless crotch)

While I’m thinking of it, does Roland Martin serve any real purpose on the face of this Earth? Jesus that man is a pussy.

Gee, I wonder why no one brought the former former House Majority Leaders’ comments he made so publicly about the sitting President Of The United States???????? Harry Reid showed no respect for the office and he’s not a pundit.

And if CNN wanted to get some quick ratings (and if they had any balls too) they’ll throw Carville and Roland together to “discuss” for a 5 minute segment. The Serpent would absolutely thrash the doughboy into a quivering and stuttering mass of sackless tissue. Now THAT would be entertainment!

CNN was not offended when George Bush was called a monkey by Erin Burnett. Respect for the president has diminished since out last ball-less president, Jimmy Carter. It is a different story when it is your man getting gored.

I never cared for Carville until recently, when he broke lockstep with the other dems and took on Obama and his pathetic, incompetent, manipulative, stupid, out-of-touch-with-reality way he totally mishandled the Gulf oil spill.

He won a lot of gruding respect down here because of that.

it will be funny to see how those who were upset about Palin and her cajones remark feel about Carville’s comment.

And, why didn’t King discuss whether this was appropriate to say about Hillary? He just seems to be concerned about how disrespectful this is to POTUS, but what about the female Sec. of State? If King thinks it’s disrespectful to say Obama only has one ball, doesn’t he find it disrespectful to say Hillary has three?

Personally, i think it’s funny, and true, metaphorically speaking, of course.

Forget about that, I want to know if Carville is embarrassed by his prediction 2 years ago that the Dem’s would have a stranglehold on Washington for 40 years!!!!!!

Actually I agree with Carville’s comment. I think Obama should grow a few. The entire Democrat Party should grow a few. Let’s face it if we ARE to be taken down by the righties we should go down screaming instead of whining.

I need to file this for future reference. You know, next time some Leftist gets incensed because a conservative tells the truth and we have to hear how we need to “restore civility” to politics. Mr. Carville has shown his colors repeatedly, but I really think if not the man, at least the office, of President deserves more respect than this braying jackass has displayed. Carville said far more about himself with this comment than he said about Mr. Obama.
