At least in Japan’s case there’s the assurance that any money given is actually going to do good. But, for some reason, the story was under reported; and fund raisers have been reliant on the individual.

I approve more ‘disaster porn’ on the basis that it inspires donations.

Yesterday again, the earthquake came in Japan. I think so, this period of time is only for Japan.

But you have to be some serious kind of ass*#le to look at a video of people running for their lives at a moment just prior to a disaster in which some 20,000 or more did NOT escape — mothers, children, fathers, sisters, brothers — and then use that as a leaping point for your own pettiness.

God forbid you should ever be the one in a similar crisis situation. Were it I on the hill and you looking for a leg up, I would help just the same because that’s what it is to be human… but you can be damn sure, I wouldn’t like it. You’re an ugly excuse for a person. Just pathetic. If you have any decency whatsoever, you’ll repent from your stupidity and cut a large check immediately to send to a Japanese relief effort.

But… I suspect this is more likely… instead you’ll post some idiotic response below about how right you are to be such a jackass.

It doesn’t bother me that you downloaded, then re-posted, my YouTube video so that it conformed to your own video player. But please, don’t publish it with a float-over or pre-roll advertisement.

Every video on my YouTube channel that I have distribution rights to (including the above video) are shown without advertisement, and I frequently opt-out of the YouTube partnership program.

If you’re not going to embed the YouTube video, that’s fine. Just don’t republish my material, or material I have rights to redistribute, with advertisements.
