White House Releases Obama’s Visitor Log (Hello, William Ayers?)

obamafirstday Oprah. Lloyd Blankfein. Serena Williams. Michael Jordan. Vikram Pandit. George Clooney. Al Gore. Al Franken.

No, not the invite list to the coolest party of all time. Just a few of the characters who have shot the bull (and maybe worked out a few deals) in the Oval Office with President Obama since he took office in January.

According to the White House, no administration has ever released a roster of the president’s visitors until now. The White House posted the list on its website after over 100 requests for disclosure, and the administration promises that it will continue to share visitor information regularly beginning in December.

Andy Stern, president of one of the largest American unions SEIU, takes the cake for most visits with 22. But he’s easily outdone by former AIG CEO Maurice R. Greenberg, who visited Obama three times, so that’s about 60 billion bailout dollars per visit.

William Ayers and Jeremiah Wright also visited the Oval Office. But not that Williams Ayers or that Jeremiah Wright. Just people with the same name. The White House dodged that bullet, writing that “Given this large amount of data, the records we are publishing today include a few ‘false positives’ — names that make you think of a well-known person, but are actually someone else.”

That said, Mediaite wants to know if it was the real Michael Jordan. And if hoops were involved. Or golf.

That is how rumors take a life of its own. MSM putting the seed which gives rise to the blooms of misinformation from the ‘pundits’ and ‘bloggers’ too lazy to do a little bit of research. Ayers and Wright are inflammatory names which the lunatic fringe want to attach to Obama to discredit his administration, policies and to make ad hominem attacks as well.

WHY couldn’t he invite some WEALTHY (HA) people to sit and jabber with him? He doesn’t want to associate with anyone who would make less that $250,000,00 because he has said those under that amount would not have to pay ANY HIGHER taxes. BUT, that was when he was telling all of you dummies that believed him, he wouldn’t raise yours. IF you know anything about this so called health plan of his, you KNOW your taxes will be raised on everything. Maybe the next things we will be taxed on is how many times we breathe IN in24 hours? Don’t be surprised at ANYTHING being taxed by this Cngress.

But some of these are quite disturbing! And isn’t this the same Obama that defended and highlighted who he “associates with” in the debates?

Fucking amazing. No President in US History has ever provided such a list, and Obama provides full disclosure and with this article all you can do is prove how utterly incapable of free-thinking you are. Stop listening to the fear-mongers on Faux News and wherever else they might be and get some perspective on life. Try actively to make friends with people who don’t share your point of view. If Obama can do it, so can you.

Exactly how is Obama trying to do this, again? Oh, that’s right… by declaring war on FOX, and praising Alan Grayson. Niiiiice.

Do me a favor, before you get all uppity, and suggest something “people start getting along,” talk to some of your cohorts… you know, like the ones who posted before you. Then, instead of whining that “the Republicans are mean,” you’ll see that the playing field is quite level.

Amid the many Internet memes that have sprung up in recent days surrounding the health care debate, a nine-second video of Alcee Hastings saying "when the deal goes down, all of this talk about rules - we make 'em up as we go along," is pretty damning evidence of the byzantine legislative process. Perhaps even more instructive, however, is the fact that the video was taken out of context. Even worse? It seems that the selective editing came from the office of Minority Leader John Bohener.
