WSJ: Howard Stern In Talks To Replace Piers Morgan On America’s Got Talent
With Piers Morgan announcing on CNN last night that he is departing as a judge on NBC hit America’s Got Talent to focus on his prime-time talk show, the hunt for his replacement is officially on. And it took less than a day for Howard Stern, one of entertainment’s biggest names, to be thrown into the mix.
Lauren A. E. Schuker of The Wall Street Journal reports that NBC and Stern are in talks for him to join the show as a judge for $15 million per year. The panel currently consists of Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel. Stern would continue to do his radio show, and that may mean moving the NBC show from Los Angeles to New York to accommodate him.
