WSJ: Howard Stern In Talks To Replace Piers Morgan On America’s Got Talent

VIDEO

With Piers Morgan announcing on CNN last night that he is departing as a judge on NBC hit America’s Got Talent to focus on his prime-time talk show, the hunt for his replacement is officially on. And it took less than a day for Howard Stern, one of entertainment’s biggest names, to be thrown into the mix.

Lauren A. E. Schuker of The Wall Street Journal reports that NBC and Stern are in talks for him to join the show as a judge for $15 million per year. The panel currently consists of Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel. Stern would continue to do his radio show, and that may mean moving the NBC show from Los Angeles to New York to accommodate him.

Below, enjoy a clip of Stern from his Sirius radio show in February, mocking Morgan for his low ratings:

The King Of D*ck Jokes, Fart Jokes, And Midgets Knows Talent When He See It !!

The people who dont listen to him can keep making ignorant comments but the people who listen to Howard know this would be a great addition.  Plus he is good friends with Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel so they would have a good back and forth between the three.

This doesn’t have to do with the media.

This is one Howard Stern rumor that actually makes sense

Now that would be awesome, even though an empty chair would be an improvement over Piers.

BTW, Piers is leaving so that he can personally oversee the cancellation of his show on CNN!

Those people that try to listen to the show can tell you how awesome the 3 day weeks and selling us his wifes bullshit

I never watched Americas got Talent. Stern though would at least make me watch the first episode.

Howard loves all the talent shows on TV and frequently talks about them on his show.  Seems like a natural fit to me, though I’d be surprised if it comes to fruition.  I generally can’t stand those shows, but I’d watch (at least at first) if Howard was judging one of them.

They would never move the show to NY just for Howard. He’s not even doing a full show that he’s paid to do now.

The dumbing down of America continues.

There is no such thing as dumbing down of America so that claim is a lie.

I would watch just to see what Howard has to say but I doubt that Howard Stern will be a judge on America’s Got Talent. I hope Howard does become a judge also just to tic off PTC and them going off about what Howard says on radio would be telling there members to boycott and stuff since that is PTC Ammo is to boycott if they don’t a show on TV or a person.
