oreilly-romney-giving-money video

On Thursday night’s O’Reilly Factor, Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly excoriated Miami Herald writer Joy-Ann Reid for criticizing Mitt Romney over giving an impoverished black woman a wad of cash on the campaign trail. “The governor helps a woman out. The woman appreciates it very much and there you have this pinhead from the Miami Herald saying that it’s a racial stereotype.”

O’Reilly: Will President Obama’s African-American Outreach Include A Cameo On Soul Train?

Picture-18-316x234 video

President Obama is launching a new outreach program to African-American voters, a strategy that temporarily left Bill O’Reilly asking questions on his program today. What kind of events would African-American outreach entail, he asked guest Marc Lamont Hill, “is he going to be on Soul Train?” Hill, taken a bit by surprise, then had to explain that Soul Train was not an accurate understanding of black culture in 2011, adding “you know you’re going to be on Media Matters for that.”

Bill O’Reilly Asks Dr. Marc Lamont Hill: Where Are Jackson And Sharpton On Herman Cain?

Picture 18 video

As the Herman Cain potential sexual harassment scandal continues to unfold, Bill O’Reilly has begun to question where civil rights leaders are standing on this issue, particularly Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. On his program last night, O’Reilly inquired as to was keeping them quiet, particularly since Cain had himself noted he believed race was a factor in the scrutiny. In a passionate but friendly exchange, O’Reilly challenged Dr. Marc Lamont Hill to give a non-partisan reason for their silence, to which he replied in sum that they had learned their lessons about jumping to defend people without all the facts.

Bill O’Reilly And Marc Lamont Hill Explore: Is Occupy Wall Street Racist?

Picture-125-316x217 video

As the Occupy Wall Street protests went global (and violent) over the weekend, the increasing number of people turning out piqued Bill O’Reilly‘s curiosity this weekend, as, to him, the people attending appeared no more diverse than those protesting for the Tea Party Movement, which faced a number of accusations of racism. Tonight, O’Reilly asked Prof. Marc Lamont Hill why the minority turnout was so low and how, if at all, the Tea Party exhibited any more racism than Occupy Wall Street. As always with the pair, the debate ended in fireworks.

‘Rent Is Too Damn High’ Guy Sparks Mayhem On Follow The Money Panel

Picture 4 video

For most of his short career in cable news, Jimmy McMillan has been showcased alone for his auctioneer’s voice and amazingly sculpted facial hair. Now that he’s running for president, however, he’s got to learn to play well with others, and on last night’s Follow the Money McMillan had to debate Eric Bolling‘s panel, including a confused Dr. Marc Lamont Hill who didn’t understand why McMillan was attacking him for holding the same views.

O’Reilly Makes Panel Grade Obama’s Egypt Performance, Gives Him The Top Grade

Picture 4 video

The Egyptian revolts are now several days old and, with the time distance growing enough to allow evaluation, the media is starting to look at how President Obama has reacted to the situation. Tonight Bill O’Reilly asked his panel– Mary Katharine Ham and Marc Lamont Hill– to play professor and hand out letter grades, and was shocked to find that the President got a better grade out of him than anyone else.

Marc Lamont Hill Calls Obama ‘Murderer’ After Asking Media To Stop ‘Language Of Violence’

Marc_Lamont_Hill audio

The political rhetoric debate that has arisen in light of the likely schizophrenia-induced Arizona massacre this weekend has led to a whole lot of line-drawing on what media personalities can and cannot say. That doesn’t mean that some haven’t been immediately– and egregiously– crossing them. Take Columbia University professor Marc Lamont Hill, who called for rhetoric to be toned down nearly in the same breath as calling Barack Obama a “murderer.”

Picture 4 Video

On CNN‘s Anderson Cooper 360, substitute host Randi Kaye led a discussion with liberal professor Marc Lamont Hill and RedState.com editor Erick Erickson over Sarah Palin‘s falling popularity numbers in a new CNN poll. Is Palin truly unelectable as some of the Republican respondents to the poll believe, or as Erickson suggests, is Palin just currently overexposed?

Marc Lamont Hill Doubles Down On Chris Christie Fat Claim

Marc Lamont Hill is still not done calling New Jersey Governor Chris Christie fat. If you didn’t hear, Hill got in a bit of hot water last week when, on MyFoxPhilly, he mused that Christie could never be president because “he’s fat.” And today he returned to the scene of the crime in an attempt to clarify his statements. But even as he tried to make amends, he couldn’t help taking a dig at the governor’s girth. “I’m sorry, Governor Christie, if I offended you. We can get together and have a salad. Talk about this.”

Marc Lamont Hill To Bill O’Reilly: You Get Good Ratings “Because You’re So Dastardly Good-Looking”

Marc Lamont Hill video

Earlier this week Columbia professor (and former Fox News commentator) Marc Lamont Hill made a bold statement: that New Jersey governor Chris Christie is “too fat to be [elected] president.” Last night, Bill O’Reilly had Hill on his show so that the two of them could debate the merits of Hill’s contentious statement.

Marc Lamont Hill: New Jersey Governor Chris Christie Is Too Fat To Be President

lamont_hill_fat video

As New Jersey Governor Chris Christie‘s place in the national political conversation as grown in scale, so too to have both the plaudits and the critiques. This weekend during an appearance on Meet the Press David Gregory pressed the NJ Governor on any presidential plans (which he denied vociferously.) On the other side of the equation is Marc Lamont Hill who recently said “he’s too fat to be president.”

Red Eye’s Halftime Report: Political Whores And Race Relations

Picture 2 video

Here’s a fun game to play with the following clip: how many times does someone on this panel accuse someone else of being racist? It’s the kind of thing that typically happens on cable news shoutfests, but, unlike those, the participants in this discussion can’t help but erupt in laughter every time someone plays the race card. Or the “whore” card. Or, really, any other cable news cliche in the context of today’s news cycle.

Ann Coulter’s Idea For CNN’s 9pm: Democratic Religion Polygraph Test

coulter_9-28 video

Two popular TV pundits on opposite ends of the spectrum, who usually appear on Fox News, battled it out on Larry King Live about some very serious issues – and did it without yelling and with friendly banter throughout.

A discussion over whether Pres. Barack Obama believes in God led to Ann Coulter‘s programming choice to replace Larry King.

hill_7-15 video

Liberal commentator and professor Marc Lamont Hill was fired from Fox News in October, but that hasn’t stopped his regular appearances sparring with Bill O’Reilly on top-rated cable news show The O’Reilly Factor.

And last night’s segment perfectly exemplified the fresh air Hill brings to the program and the network – he’s not afraid to tell the host he’s completely wrong.

video

Fox News Analyst Called “Affirmative Action Baby”

video

Ultra-conservative author and columnist David Horowitz unleashed a racial, if not racist, attack on Fox News liberal analyst Marc Lamont Hill on Friday – and it started an online war or words between the two.

Is it simply an extension of a regular, and famous, Fox News viewer reacting to a strong left voice often seen tangling with others on the network – or is it something more personal?
