O’Reilly Prepares To Light Up GE Again Tonight
All day yesterday Bill O’Reilly’s Website teased a segment equating GE and Enron (with Bernie Goldberg weighing in), but when The O’Reilly Factor aired last night, Goldberg and O’Reilly just chatted about how awesome Fox News was. So where did it go?
In the post-’Truce’-gate world, Inside Cable News asked if it was “spiked” for some reason. Here’s the answer: it’s happening tonight.
The story, based around this Floyd Norris article in the New York Times, was brought up several times on Fox News yesterday.
A Factor insider tells Mediaite the show is “doing it tonight,” and that it was always planned for Tuesday’s show. The promo department apparently jumped the gun. So no ‘corporate pressure’ on O’Reilly’s side – and the battle continues…

Fox is feeling no pressure to end the fued with Olbermann at all. O’Reilly’s ratings have never been higher and FNC has never done better. The only side getting killed is Olbermann and G.E. Sooner or later G.E. is going to shut Olby down rather than allow him to destroy the company. His ratings are decent by MSNBC standards (which isn’t saying much), but they’re not that good. O’Reilly has done real damage to GE and NBC, while Olbermann has only damaged himself, his network, and GE.
KO is just about the most honest man in TV talk/news… His Special Comments are filled with truth and salient points … he speaks for the little guy, the working man, middle America. Rachel Maddow – coming on after KO is excellent too :)
What? was this poll taken from a Republican state or what? Survey us!!! the ones who voted for Obama…the majority! We will see next election!!! A lot of us are on the Do Not Call List! Sorry Keith!! But hate robo calls from the Republicans…no polling here I guess! I love Keith O. He is reasonable and right now I think people are watching to see what the other side are up to since there is so much hate and angry mobs….got to keep an eye on the bad people!!! Ohhh and Palin Hater!!! LOL
Well, there you go: “KO is just about the most honest man in TV talk/news…” I think the exact opposite. I think NBC is in cahoots with the Obama administration and is given special consideration for its myopic, dishonest reporting on everything Obama. I also believe everything O’Reilly says about General Electric and I believe GE will make billions on all sorts of deals with the BHO administration. Two divergent opinions does a great country allow. :)
The Seven Best (Or, Somewhat Memorable) Moments Of The Jay Leno Show

After 95 episodes, the epic failure known as The Jay Leno Show airs its final episode tonight. Of course, Leno himself will be back after the Olympics, comfortably at 11:35pm all over again. Which was pretty much the problem to begin with - the 10pm offering started as a similar product to the Tonight Show, and only became more like the old format as time went on.
No Surprise Here: FNC Dominates Ratings For Palin Tea Party Speech
• With all three cable news networks carrying Sarah Palin's tea party speech and Q&A after on Saturday night, Fox News was the clear winner in the ratings. During the 9pmET hour, FNC had more viewers in the A25-54 demographic than MSNBC, CNN and HLN combined. In total viewers, Fox News had more than double the combined total of the other three cablers.
