I think they should just turn Baier into a 2 hour slot. Like Blitzer. Kelly can go back to her original time slot.

This is a promising sign. Greg Gutfeld really needs to get a show in prime time. I hope this move by Fox is a test run at getting him a better time slot than his current one.

Of course, if the competition were smart, they would have hired Gutfeld a year ago and used him to compete AGAINST Fox. But since CNN has an apparent prohibition against hiring conservative hosts these days, that would never have happened.

Talk about scrapping the bottom of the latrine.

Good move by Fox News! I’d suggest 5pm Greg with Andy & Bill as co-panel with Red Eye in the repeat slot.

Since Red Eye show’s ratings beat CNN primtime, Greg, Andy and Bill definitely need a better timeslot or else they might leave for other opportunities.

Bret Baier already comes on too early for the western half of the country. FNC badly needs to give the folks in the Mountain and Pacific zones a better program lineup. I’m not suggesting tape delay, but replaying Special Report in the middle of the night is not a good way to bring the news to everyone west of Kansas City.

“Red Eye” is a great show, but would it have to be too toned down for that time slot? Gutfeld may have to come up with an entirely new show at that hour if he gets the entire hour as his for good. I’m pretty sure his show, if it’s like “Red Eye” would not appeal to all of Beck’s current viewers.

It will be interesting to see what his fill-in show is like, if it is different from the other fill-ins for Beck in the past.
