Rush Limbaugh Rips Martin Bashir, ‘Despicable Human Beings’ at MSNBC

Rush Limbaugh became the latest commentator Tuesday to weigh in on Martin Bashir’s controversial remarks about Sarah Palin. On his radio show, Limbaugh went after Bashir’s “pure, unadulterated, low class hatred” of Palin, along with the “despicable human beings” at MSNBC who are still allowing him to go on the air.

Limbaugh began by asking any parents listening with children to get their kids out of the room before he described Bashir’s comments, which included the suggestion that someone should defecate into Palin’s mouth. “It’s just abject, pure, unadulterated, low class hatred,” he said. While he acknowledged Bashir’s on air apology, he could not believe he was still employed by MSNBC.

“I don’t know how he’s still there,” Limbaugh said. “I mean, the fact that people at MSNBC didn’t find that reprehensible in any way and let that stand… This is what continues to amaze me. These are some of the lowest, particularly at that network, just most despicable human beings.”

“They do it with this smug arrogance as though they’re smarter and better than everybody else,” the host continued. “Sarah Palin never did anything to this guy. This guy’s beloved president is embarrassing himself and plummeting in every way possible. So we gotta go out and malign Sarah Palin.”
