It was an epic night of television for US X-Factor fans. The competition came down to three competitors Josh Krajcik, Chris Rene and Melanie Amaro.

After nine weeks of incredible performances, it all came down to a final decision by X-Factor voters.

    i was rooting for 
    Josh Krajcik, but like the other two. Josh was the best, though.

    They took a 2 great shows (Idol,Voice) and overproduced them, loaded them with fluff, added lots of noise and pyrotechnics and the result is a terrible waste of time. Josh and Melanie were very good but the show is a joke. If it returns next year it will just prove Simon is on target with his demographics. What a shame.

    X-Factor isn’t a joke it wasn’t terrible either or a waste of time either. X-Factor has been renewed for a second season.
