‘You Know Better!’: Protestor Crashes Colin Powell’s Interview on CBS

Here’s a little something strange to start off your new week.

A CBS This Morning interview with Colin Powell was briefly sent off the rails on Monday thanks to a protestor.

The former Secretary of State met the panel outside of the new National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington D.C., where the discussion focused on how race continues to factor into American society. Eventually, a protestor approached the set and started railing against Powell:

The man was never on-camera, and while some of the shouting wasn’t clear, he did say “you know better, Colin Powell. All right? As a black man in America…”

Powell and the panel were briefly taken aback, but they quickly pressed ahead as Powell jokingly asked “Is he one of yours?”
