Sam Bankman-Fried Sentenced to 25 Years in Prison for Multi-Billion Dollar Fraud

FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried was sentenced to 25 years in prison after bilking $8 billion from crypto investors.
U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan rejected the government’s request of 50 years for the 32-year old Bankman-Fried.
SBF was found guilty on seven fraud and conspiracy counts after FTX collapsed in 2022.

Prosecutors called the case “one of the biggest financial frauds in U.S. history.”
