Currently, the Michelin Guide’s active in three cities — New York, Chicago, and San Francisco — and each city has one critic. But the famously anonymous Michelin inspectors have only two channels to interact with the world: one, through the industry-defining restaurant guides, and two, through Twitter. And boy, when they can’t actually tell people what they think about the restaurants they frequent and the chefs they adore/hate, Twitter takes the brunt of their sass.
From cryptic insults to snarky observations, here’s the best of the Michelin Tweets in the last year. And by best, we mean funniest. And by funniest, we mean they’re total betches.
