Award-Winning Epstein Reporter Brands Natalie Harp the ‘Side Piece’ of Trump

Celebrated journalist Julie K. Brown joined the gang of critics bashing President Donald Trump’s aide Natalie Harp on Wednesday by branding her the president’s “side piece.”
Brown — who won a series of awards for her reporting on dead sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein in The Miami Herald — made the accusation on X.
She was responding to a post from The Lincoln Project co-founder Rick Wilson, in which he shared a slew of “on message” right-wing pundits and politicians who criticized Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA) for putting the Trump-Harp rumors in the news.
“None of these people defending Trump’s side piece seemed to have any issue with Trump calling female reporters ‘piggy’ and ‘hag,'” Brown posted.
Her accusation stands out, considering Brown is one of the more acclaimed journalists in America.
She received a Pulitzer Prize special citation for her Epstein reporting last year, adding to other honors like the George Polk Award, the Sidney Award, and an investigative journalism prize from the National Press Club Journalism Institute.
Brown’s post followed Ossoff accusing Trump last weekend of preferring to “travel with Natalie” than lead the nation.
The remark sparked several days of news coverage and heated debates over whether Ossoff’s diss was kosher or not. A number of pro-MAGA pundits and Trump officials ripped Ossoff for the comment, with White House Communications Director Steven Cheung branding Ossoff a “c*ck loser” for it.
Harp is the 35-year-old special assistant to Trump who helps him with social media posts and has been dubbed the “Human Printer” because she quickly prints positive news coverage and shares it with the president. She credits Trump with saving her life, after he approved legislation in 2018 which opened the door for her to get experimental treatment for bone cancer.
Ossoff later attempted to walk back his comment by telling MS NOW on Monday he was not suggesting Harp was sleeping with Trump; instead, he was merely saying Trump’s relationship with Harp showed he was in a “bubble” surrounded by sycophants.
But others besides Brown have defended him. Rep. Julie Johnson (D-TX) told CNN on Tuesday she did not believe Ossoff’s shot was “sexist” — it was “just a truthful fact.”
