Green Book Wins Academy Award for Best Picture

Green Book took home the Academy Award for Best Picture on Sunday night besting out Bohemian Rhapsody, Black Panther, Vice, The Favourite, A Star is Born, BlacKkKlansman and Roma.

Green Book is the story of black concert pianist Don Shirley and his Italian-American bodyguard and driver as they travel through the deep south in the early 1960s.

The movie also took home Best Picture honors at the Golden Globes.

Peter Farrelly directed the film.

The award was presented by Julia Roberts.
