Fox News Digital Brand Dominates Media Competition With Massive August Numbers

Fox News drew a whopping 386.2 million views on YouTube during the month of August, placing it well ahead of competition like CNN and MSNBC.
For the month of August, CNN and MSNBC drew 186.6 million views and 275.6 million views, respectively, on YouTube, according to Emplifi data. Both ABC News and CBS News topped 100 million. Fox News saw a bump of 16% from its July to August numbers, and year-over-year, YouTube views are up 65%.
Fox News carries just under 15 million followers on YouTube, where clips of their biggest television stars, such as Sean Hannity, Jesse Watters, and Greg Gutfeld, can be found along with livestreams and various news reports.
The Fox News Digital brand is continuing to lead other news brands too, drawing 88 million desktop/mobile unique visitors for the month. It marked a single digit year-over-year decrease, while other brands took double digit hits. CNN drew approximately 75 million unique visitors while CBS drew around 73 million. Fox News Digital topped The New York Times, ABC, and NBC.
The Digital brand for Fox drew 3.6 billion multiplatform minutes and 1.8 billion multiplatform views total, numbers that also topped The New York Times, CNN, and others.
