Joy Reid Brands Stephen Miller’s Speeches ‘Decaf Nazism’

Joy Reid is the latest liberal to accuse White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller of sounding like a Nazi.

The ex-MS NOW star ripped Miller for a recent speech he made on the Friday episode of her YouTube show — a speech in which Miller said “violent Antifa” demonstrators are physically repulsive.

“To be blunt, not one of the people that is demonstrating looks like a normal person.  Not one looks normal,” Miller said on July 16. “They’re all deformed in some way – in their appearance, in their dress, in their mannerism.  Why is that? Why?”

Reid was disgusted by those comments — and Miller in general.

“He’s physically hideous looking, so it’s wild that he said that,” Reid said.

She then asked her guest, author Robert Jones, Miller’s speech and another from Secretary of State Mark Rubio “didn’t those speeches to you sound like decaf Nazism?”

Jones completely agreed.

“It’s not like Nazi language, it is Nazi language. It’s straight out of Mein Kampf. Hitler did this over and over, Himmler did this over and over. This argument that you can look at someone and tell by their physical appearance whether or not they’re morally upright, right?”

There were several other comparisons between Nazi Germany and President Donald Trump’s administration during Reid’s show. The episode was titled, “Countering White Christian Nationalism Part 8: MAGA Is Giving Nazism,” so it wasn’t exactly a surprise. Reid said the Trump administration is obsessed with having a “specific Nordic” look, which she said makes it obvious “they’re just reproducing Nazi Germany inside the Republican Party.”

She added it was “hard to dispute” what Don Lemon said earlier this month, when he said MAGA was “America’s version” of the Nazi Party, just “without the Holocaust and all that stuff.”

Reid was not the first famous liberal to compare Miller to the Nazis, though; Hollywood icon Robert De Niro called Miller a “Nazi” on MS NOW last year.

“I guess he’s the Goebbels of the cabinet, Stephen Miller. He’s a Nazi,” De Niro said. “Yes, he is, and he’s Jewish, and he should be ashamed of himself!”

Reid closed her episode by declaring, “There you have it. They are the closest thing to the Nazi Party. I know they’re going to get made at Fox, they’re going to get pissed off. But it’s true.”
