Biden Camp Torches ‘Feeble Confused’ Trump ‘Lying’ Post-Court Press Conference — And Comparing Self To Jesus

President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign went after former President Donald Trump very aggressively after Trump’s press conference following a hearing in the Stormy Daniels hush money case — and a social media post comparing himself to Jesus Christ.

Monday was a busy day for Trump. He appeared in court for a hearing in the case involving hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels, which resulted in a several-dozen-count indictment of the former president.

The result of that hearing was a denial of Trump’s attempts to delay the trial, but during the hearing the former president also got some good news: the appeals court ruled he could have an additional ten days to post a reduced amount of $175 million in order to proceed with his appeal of the $460 million-plus fraud judgment hanging over his head.

Another piece of good news to come out of that hearing was that Trump is just like Jesus Christ, according to a fan whose message Trump shared from inside the courtroom. Trump held a press conference after the hearing, where he took questions and kept fact-checkers busy with a stream of falsehoods.

The Biden-Harris 2024 campaign pounced on the press conference to slam Trump in a statement accusing him of “lying about having money he definitely doesn’t have”:

Statement on Trump’s Press Conference

Biden-Harris 2024 Spokesperson James Singer released the following statement on Trump’s press conference this afternoon:

“Donald Trump is weak and desperate – both as a man and a candidate for President.

He spent the weekend golfing, the morning comparing himself to Jesus, and the afternoon lying about having money he definitely doesn’t have.

His campaign can’t raise money, he is uninterested in campaigning outside his country club, and every time he opens his mouth, he pushes moderate and suburban voters away with his dangerous agenda.

America deserves better than a feeble, confused, and tired Donald Trump.”

During the press conference, Trump appeared to have confused the hush money trial with the fraud trial he’s in the process of appealing when Maggie Haberman confronted him about the former, but got a lengthy answer about the latter.
