Eight Wounded, None Critically, in Mass Shooting at Mall in Wisconsin (UPDATED)

Police responded to multiple shots fired inside the Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa, a suburb west of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
According to the Associated Press, eyewitnesses heard between eight to 12 shots fired inside the mall on Friday afternoon. Local channels WISN and WTMJ showed numerous emergency personnel and ambulances were on the scene and as many as five people were wounded had been evacuated on stretchers, but none of them appeared to have life-threatening injuries. Two of those being taken to hospitals were conscious and sitting up.

Update, 6:55 p.m. EST: Wauwatosa Police Chief Barry Weber offered a brief update on the shooting, telling the press that seven adults and one juvenile suffered gunshot wounds, but all were expected to recover. He then described the shooting suspect as a white male in his 2os or 30s and asked the public for help in identifying him, implying that the suspect was not in custody and could still be inside the mall, which remains locked down as police process the scene.
