Fox News’s John Roberts Blasts Democratic Socialists as Wanting To ‘Crap All Over America!’

Fox News’s John Roberts accused candidates with the Democratic Socialists of America as wanting to “crap all over America” during the country’s 250th anniversary.

He made the comments during an interview with former Sen. Joe Manchin (I-WV), who slammed extremists on both side of the aisle, including MAGA.

“You have the MAGA part of the Republican party and you have the socialists, the extreme left on the Democratic party. They have been able to take advantage of a closed system,” Manchin said, continuing:

Since the parties basically want to control, and they can control through the primaries, by controlling the primaries, these activists on both sides have taken over. Totally taken over. Because, they are more enthused, they are more excited, they are more engaged now because they don’t like what’s going on. They can’t buy a house. Their credit is very difficult to improve with the student debt they have. The cost of living is so high. It’s been basically, just the basics of groceries and utilities and food and transportation. It’s more than most of them can attain without help from their parents or grandparents, and then you have on top of that no opportunities upward bound. So, I would say, caution to my Republican friends, because if they see you are see you benefiting, or doing extremely, the largest of what’s going on, it’s going to backfire. My grandfather always said, “Leave a little meat on the bone for the next dog.”

Roberts ignored the MAGA criticism and continued on with the DSA.

“On the occasion of America’s 250th birthday, a lot of us are feeling patriotism and love for this country,” Roberts said. “This was an adopted country for me. It wasn’t for you, but a lot of these Democrat socialist candidates seem to want to crap all over America. You have Darializa Chevalier (D) who said her hands were dirty, and what was she going to wipe her hands on? The American flag behind her! I mean, who are these people?”

“I have no idea, and I can tell you one thing: She better not wipe her hands on the American flag in West Virginia, that’s all I can warn her,” Manchin said.

“The thing of it is, can’t they understand, them being able to speak out, them being able to do things that no other country would allow you to do, is because of all the blood, sweat, and resources that have been spent over 250 years?” Manchin asked. “Can’t you at least celebrate? We’re not celebrating President [Donald] Trump or any other president or any other politician. We are celebrating this experiment that we can govern ourselves. We are having a hard time right now. We are getting too divided. We’ve got to bring it back.”
