OUCH! Lauren Boebert’s Opponent Films Attack Ad from the Infamous Theater Where She Was Booted for Inappropriate Conduct

A congressional candidate running has gone viral for filming a campaign ad in the theater where his primary foe — Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) — was kicked out last year for inappropriate conduct.

In a 50-second spot posted to X/Twitter, the candidate, Democrat John Padora, showed CCTV footage of Boebert being escorted out of Denver’s Buell Theater during a performance of Beetlejuice the musical. Boebert was escorted from the venue after complaints that she was vaping and otherwise causing a disturbance. Footage from the venue appeared to show her getting inappropriately handsy with a male companion.

“I’m sitting in the very same seat that Lauren Boebert got kicked out of, the same way she got kicked out of Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District,” Padora said in the ad.

Padora alluded to Boebert opting not to run for reelection in the 3rd district, where she was very nearly defeated by a Democratic challenger two years ago, and opting instead to run in the state’s 4th district. She faces five Republican opponents in the primary on Tuesday, before potentially advancing to the general election. Padora, for his part, would need to defeat two other Democrats in the primary before a potential meeting with Boebert in the general. But his new ad seems to suggest he’s focused squarely on November.

“She’s using us for her own political gains,” Padora said. “But this shouldn’t come as a surprise. It sure as hell doesn’t shock me.”
