Have I told you lately that this may have been a bad idea?
Rod Stewart dedicated a portion of a July 29 concert in Charlotte, N.C., to show a bizarre, AI-generated video of Ozzy Osbourne clutching a selfie stick to take pictures with other dead musicians.
Among those displayed as Stewart performed his hit “Forever Young” were Bob Marley, Kurt Cobain, Tupac, and Michael Jackson, to name a few.
“NO! Not Tupac!” a concertgoer was heart shouting when the screen showed an image of Osbourne with the murdered rapper.
The video has been described as everything from “disrespectful” to “creepy.”
As usual, the internet is flipping their collective lids over the bizarre clip, with many ripping the “Maggie May” singer.
Osbourne, the legendary Black Sabbath frontman and self-proclaimed Prince of Darkness, died on July 22. He was 76.
