‘Something’s Going On!’ Gunfire Erupts at Super Bowl Parade During Live TV Hit

A local news broadcast captured the horrifying moment gunfire erupted at the Kansas City Chief’s Super Bowl parade on Wednesday afternoon.
The footage was later broadcast on BBC News.
At least one person died and at least 10 were wounded toward the end of the parade, according to local news reports. The Kansas City Police Department has detained multiple suspects in connection with the shooting.
The shooting took place west of the city’s Union Station near a garage as fans were preparing to leave the festival. Kansas City Police Commissioner Stacey Graves said during a press conference over a dozen people have reportedly been injured while one victim died.
Footage of the start of the shooting was captured on-air by KCTV5 News reporter Neal Jones during a live local broadcast.
