Tom Homan Warns on Fox Dems Need to ‘Shut Their Mouth’ About ICE or There Will ‘Be More Bloodshed’
Trump Border Czar Tom Homan ominously warned Democrats to stop stoking criticism of ICE or “there will still be more bloodshed” — after three people were killed in a week of ICE-related incidents.
Appearing on Fox News’ The Ingraham Angle with Laura Ingraham Wednesday, Homan pinned the blame for recent violence related to the agency squarely on Democratic criticism of the agency:
There have been a lot of shootings. I’m scared to death that one of these days, our ICE Officers won’t be quick enough. The bad guys will be quicker. And I’ll be handing another folded flag to a spouse or a child.
President [Donald] Trump is clear. This policy is not going away but it all goes back to the DEMs who want to continue to attack ICE
And tell people to evade them. Tell people they don’t comply. Tell people to resist and tell people ICE isn’t a real law enforcement agency.
I said if the hateful rhetoric didn’t stop, there would be bloodshed and I’m saying it right now: there will still be more bloodshed unless they shut their mouth and let ICE enforce the laws that they enacted.
Homan spoke after a spate of deaths across the country involving federal immigration agents.
On July 7 in Houston, Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, 52, was shot and killed after he allegedly tried to flee ICE agents — who reportedly mistook him for the target of the operation they were carrying out.
On Monday, 26-year-old Joan Sebastian Guerrero was fatally shot by ICE agents after he allegedly tried to flee the scene. The officer who opened fire apparently did so “fearing for public safety,” DHS said.
And on Tuesday, a man was killed in Florida after ICE agents stopped four people in a parking lot and the victim fled into oncoming traffic in a bid to escape.
ICE then paused traffic stops , a move which prompted massive MAGA backlash.
President Donald Trump then demanded the agency restart the practice.
